Malahide Castle

This is the single longest living family – The Talbots in one castle since 1185 up to 1975 – just 800 years. This Castle is full of history and intrigue – just imagine all of your expectations of a castle being met?

Trim Castle

A medieval castle, it is the largest Norman castle in Ireland and if you are Castle enthusiastic then this castle is a must see. The town of Trim has the oldest medieval bridge 1330 – 1350 it is still in use today.

Slane Castle

In 1170 Hugh De Lacy received these lands from King Henry the second. He too build a motte and bailey fortress. The present mansion was built in the 1780’s and now the castle is owned and managed by Lord Henry Mount Charles. Slane castle is well known worldwide for its rock concerts.
